Lee Lasris

Board-Certified Health Lawyer

Lee Lasris is a board-certified health lawyer with extensive experience in health and corporate law. Served as legal counsel to numerous health care providers, including hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, disease management companies, managed care organizations, home health agencies, diagnostic imaging facilities, health care clinics, physical therapy providers, management companies and other health care related entities. Experience includes physician and managed care contracting, purchase and sale of physician practices and other health care organizations, managed care contracting, and provider networking. Regularly provides legal advice and assistance to health care providers on various matters including federal and state health care laws and regulations, peer review, Medicare reimbursement, fraud and abuse, HIPAA, EMTALA, health care licensure, physician self-referral, business structure and formation, antitrust and business acquisitions, compliance programs and employee training.

He was admitted to practice in Florida in 1982 and board-certified in health law in 1999. Lee is a member of the Health Law Section and served for six years on the Health Law Certification Committee. Rated “AV” by Martindale Hubbell.

In 2006, he was a founding partner of the Florida Health Law Center, where he managed a 7-lawyer firm that practiced in health and corporate law.

Belinda J. Ward

Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Belinda has worked with Lee exclusively in health law and corporate transactions since 2018. Belinda provides paralegal and legal administrative support to Lee and their clients. She assists with entity formation, transactions, due diligence review, compliance matters, and drafting agreements and other documents. Belinda has legal experience in many areas, including appellate, asbestos and insurance defense.
